Techno Digital Launches 36MW Sustainable Data Hub for High-Performance Computing in Chennai’s IT Corridor

Techno Digital, a subsidiary of Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited (TEECL), is set to unveil a 36MW hyperscale data center in Chennai’s SIPCOT IT Park. This move aligns with the company’s mission to cultivate AI-ready and eco-friendly infrastructure as part of its $1 billion national strategy.

Spanning over 200,000 square feet, the data center boasts the capacity to house approximately 2,400 high-density racks. It offers flexible power options ranging from 10kW to 50kW per rack and beyond, catering to diverse demands.

Positioned strategically within Chennai’s tech hub, the data center enjoys proximity to numerous cable landing stations and domestic network centers. This location offers customers enhanced connectivity choices and protection against potential climate risks.

The Chennai data center is engineered to meet the needs of high-performance computing and AI applications, marking another significant step in TEECL’s infrastructure expansion.
