Google Launches New Defense Against Ransomware on Google Drive to Prevent Data Theft and System Lockouts

In the digital realm, the menace of ransomware has long loomed large, posing a persistent threat with no simple resolution. On Tuesday, the tech giant unveiled a novel safeguard for its Google Drive desktop apps, designed to swiftly identify ransomware activity and halt cloud synchronization before an infection can propagate further.
