On Friday, the Social Security Administration’s Chief Data Officer, Chuck Borges, allegedly dispatched an email to staff members announcing his unexpected dismissal. This decision reportedly followed his submission of a whistleblower complaint earlier in the week, accusing the agency of improper handling of sensitive data. Shortly after its distribution, the email mysteriously vanished from employee inboxes, according to two unnamed sources at the SSA.
