Global consulting and technology services giant Accenture, serving over 500 Fortune 500 companies worldwide, is upskilling its 700,000-strong workforce in agentic AI systems. The move comes as client demand for expertise in autonomous AI technologies continues to escalate.

Accenture’s Gen AI consulting has generated over $2.6 billion in revenue during the past six months, underscoring the lucrative potential of AI proficiency. This impressive performance prompted Julie Sweet, Accenture’s Chair and CEO, to announce this latest initiative in a recent Bloomberg interview.

The training program is an evolution from an earlier one that prepared 500,000 employees for Gen AI-related roles. With this investment in employee development, Accenture aims to stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving AI landscape and meet its clients’ growing needs.
